Well, I haven't had a new entry in almost three months, but I thought now would be a good time.

Summer school ended last week; speech was hell, but my teacher was really cool. The people in my class weren't, but I read a few books in my spare time.

I've been working a lot lately for my dad at his store. It's a lot of manual labor. For example, moving hundred of boxes of bottles yesterday, and then moving them somewhere else in my near future.

Mark and I have been together for a quarter of a year on July 9th (yay!). We've been going everywhere. We've been to the JP Morgan Chase building and looked out through the hole in the top, the J. Erik Jonsson Public Library to see Shakespeare's First Folio, Reunion Tower, the Fort Worth Zoo, as well as ice skating at Stonebriar, visiting Virgin Records at Grapevine and few times, and watching more movies and Discovery channel shows than I can count.

Also, I'll be 18 in less than 6 months! Weeee!

But now I have to eat breakfast, so I can go to work. :(

[edit 5:41]

I was tagged to name 12 fictional characters I would have sex with (in no particular order) and tag five people to do the same over a month ago by [livejournal.com profile] springfall_kg, and I'm just getting around to doing it.

1) Harry Potter from Book 3
2) Mason from Dead Like Me, despite the drugs and possible STD's and alcohol and general screwed-up-ness
3) Mr. Tumnus from Chronicles of Narnia
4) Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre
5) Captain Von Trapp from Sound of Music
6) Zachary Grey from Madeleine l'Engle books
7) Dean from The Iron Giant
8) Dorian Grey from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
9) The Phantom of the Opera, as portrayed by Gerard Butler
10) Jesse from The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot
11) Jareth from Labyrinth (I lovelovelove David Bowie)
12) Gary Oldman's Sirius if he took a bath once in that movie

I don't really have anyone to tag. I suppose [livejournal.com profile] dmacabre, [livejournal.com profile] user1603726225, and [livejournal.com profile] xwishing_starx, 'cause I don't have many LJ friends. :(

1. myspace is out of order so i was looking down my bookmarks and realized i hadn't checked up on your livejournal for quite some time. i abandoned mine forever ago, sadly, but... i like you, so i still keep yours on my list. :D
2. yay for you and mark! i wish i had someone to go cool places with me... lol ok pity party over.
3. oh goodness. the sex list. i agree with you on #s 1 ^______^, 3 (though that would be somewhat odd, considering the bottom half of him is goat), 5 is somewhat tempting (though he isn't actually a fictional character..), NINE NINE NINE 9! :D, definitely 10, and possibly 12. but i'm not as obsessed with Gary Oldman as you are. lol

yay

Nice choices... now I don't feel guilty about pwn'ing Mason. After all, when you're undead, things like that just don't matter, right?
*Raises eyebrow at Mr. Tumnus, but okay*.
Wasn't Mr. Rochester played by Orson Welles?
Cpt Von Trapp...now there's a classic.
Drooled over Gerard and couldn't believe she chose that nancy-boy...
Been in love with Jareth since the Labyrinth was first made, and HAD to get a senior prom dress just like Sarah's gown at the goblin ball, if that tells you how old I am...

Yea, I used to watch Labyrinth all the time on the Disney Channel when I was younger. I taped it and wore out my tape watching it over and over again. I can't wait for the re-release with extra footage on Aug 14th- I have it on pre-order from Amazon already.

I don't know about Mr. Rochester; I read the book, but and I've never seen any Jane Eyre movie. I know in one version he was played by Timothy Dalton, although it could have been a Pride and Prejudice.

Love LOVE Captain Von Trapp. Christopher Plummer's eyes really make that part for me. CP and the Darcy from the new Pride and Prejudice both act a lot from their eyes.

I think one thing about the PoTO situation is that Gerard and Emmy have so much more chemistry than Patrick and Emmy. Plus Gerard is "teh hawt".

Mr. Tumnus I love because James McAvoy is very dreamy.

I knew when I made this list I was missing someone, and if I could redo this, I'd probably add Tom Riddle.
